Digital Invitation Pricing: What Shapes It?
What shapes the price of a digital invitation? Guest count, message rounds, delivery, invitation type, add-ons, and what to ask before a quote.
You won't find a price list in this guide, because the price of a digital invitation is set by quote, based on your event. A single figure would mislead more than it would help: the same invitation is a very different job for a small dinner in Istanbul than for a large family wedding with relatives flying in from Germany, the UK and the Netherlands. Instead, this guide shows what actually shapes the price — guest count, message rounds, how invitations reach your guests, the type of invitation and any add-on modules — and ends with the questions worth asking before you request a quote.
It is written for two kinds of readers: families living abroad who are planning a wedding back home, and couples planning a destination wedding in Turkey — a wedding held away from where most guests live, so nearly everyone travels in for it. Either way, the guest list crosses borders.
First, the Model: Quote-Based, Per Event
Davetimo is quote-based and priced per event — there is no subscription. You request a quote for one wedding, one engagement or one launch, and that quote covers that event. The price is set by your guest count, the invitation option you choose and any add-on modules you include.
For a family planning from abroad, this keeps budgeting simple: you pay for one event, not for a plan that keeps running after the wedding. The five factors below are what goes into that quote.
1. Guest Count
On Davetimo every guest gets their own personal link: the invitation goes to that person, and their reply lands on their own row. As the list grows, so does the number of people managed, messages sent and replies tracked — which is why a quote starts with guest count.
For cross-border weddings, two details matter. International phone numbers are supported, so a cousin in Rotterdam and an aunt in Izmir go through the same flow. And decide early whether you are counting households ("the Yilmaz family") or individuals — the two can give very different numbers for the same wedding. Building a Wedding Guest List for a Cross-Border Wedding walks through how to structure the list.
2. Number of Message Rounds
An invitation is rarely a single message. A wedding usually involves the invitation itself, a reminder for guests who haven't replied, and a thank-you after the day. On Davetimo, sending runs on message credits, so the number of rounds you plan directly shapes the credits you need.
- Remind only where it is needed. Guests who haven't replied are flagged separately on your dashboard, and you can remind just them — one by one, or all together from a filtered list.
- With Event Invitation, the reply conversation isn't counted again. The first invitation message uses a credit; if your guest starts replying within 24 hours, that conversation needs no extra credit. A new message sent after the 24-hour window closes uses a credit again.
If you need more messages than planned, you can purchase an additional message package. Mentioning your planned rounds when you request a quote helps set the credit plan right from the start.
3. How Invitations Reach Your Guests
For many families split between Turkey and Europe, WhatsApp is already where the family conversation happens — which is why Davetimo delivers invitations there. It runs on Meta's official WhatsApp Cloud API, and the sent, delivered and read status of every message lands on your dashboard in real time. Guests don't need to download anything or create an account; a tap is enough. For the details, see Sending Wedding Invitations via WhatsApp (The Right Way).
If part of your list doesn't use WhatsApp at all, say so when you request a quote — it is a detail to settle before sending, not after.
4. Invitation Type: Who Designs It?
Davetimo has three invitation options, and the difference comes down to one question: who does the design?
Event Invitation — no design work. You upload your own invitation image or video and it is ready in a few steps. Guests reply without leaving WhatsApp, headcount is asked inside the chat, and AiReport reads your RSVP table with AI. See How to Send an Event Invitation on WhatsApp.
Concept Invitation — you shape the design. You choose a concept from a broad family of original designs and edit colour, sections and content yourself in a real-time studio, with countdown, map, schedule and dress code inside the invitation.
Bespoke — we shape the design. An invitation page built from scratch for a launch, a collection preview or a brand event. We listen to your brand, design the page around your visual identity, then publish it and follow the guest flow with you.
Because the three are different jobs, the option you pick affects the quote.
5. Add-on Modules
Two modules cover what happens after the invitation, and both are charged separately. Either can be added to any of the three options; their pricing is set as part of the quote.
- Seating plan — lay out the tables, place guests in seats and see every change instantly.
- Photo gallery — guests upload their photos from the day; you approve them and publish a shared album, which matters when half the family flies home the next morning.
If you don't need them, you don't add them.
What You're Paying For: Included in All Three
The thing worth pinning down in any price conversation is what counts as a separate item and what already comes with it. On Davetimo, these four are part of all three options at no extra charge:
- Guest list management
- Live RSVP dashboard
- Excel import and export
- Bulk invitations over WhatsApp
So RSVP tracking isn't a paid extra — it is part of every option. For the basics, see How to Track Wedding RSVPs Online (Without a Spreadsheet).
With Concept Invitation, that structure comes together with a personal invitation: each guest opens their own link and is greeted by name, the invitation travels over WhatsApp, and their reply shows up on the dashboard at the same moment — in Turkish or English.

Questions to Ask Before You Request a Quote
Whichever platform you talk to, quotes become comparable when you ask the same questions:
- Is the price per event, or tied to an ongoing plan?
- Is attendance tracking included, or charged separately?
- Does each guest get their own link, or does everyone fill in the same form?
- Can you see delivered and read status for WhatsApp invitations?
- Do international phone numbers work the same way?
- Can guests see the invitation in their own language?
- How are reminders and thank-you messages counted?
- Who does the design?
- Are a seating plan or photo gallery included, or separate?
- What are the cancellation and refund terms?
Getting the answers in writing makes it clear what you are comparing when two quotes sit side by side.
How to Get a Quote
Choose the invitation option you are interested in on the pricing page and fill in a short form: your name, email, guest count and any add-on modules. Your tailored quote arrives by email — which works just as well from London or Berlin as from Istanbul.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why isn't there a fixed price for a digital invitation?
Because the same invitation doesn't do the same job at two different events. Guest count, message rounds, where your guests live, who does the design and which modules you add all vary. On Davetimo the price is set by quote, based on your event.
Is there a subscription?
No. Davetimo charges per event, and the quote you receive covers that event.
Do I pay extra for RSVP tracking?
No. The live RSVP dashboard is included in all three invitation options, together with guest list management, Excel import and export, and bulk invitations over WhatsApp.
Can we plan everything from abroad?
Yes. The quote request, the dashboard and the sending all happen online, and international phone numbers are supported — so you can manage a wedding in Turkey from wherever you live.
The price of a digital invitation isn't defined by a package name; it is defined by your event. To preview the design concepts, open the Showcase →; for the full feature set, Features →.
